A Boston native, Dan Fireman is an entrepreneur, investor, and Co-founder & Executive Chairman of Liberty National Golf Club - a premier golf destination on the banks of the Hudson River overlooking the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline. He led the development of this iconic club in 2006, a project that quickly gained recognition for its world-class design, exceptional facilities, and commitment to providing an unparalleled golfing experience. Under Dan's leadership, Liberty National has hosted several PGA Tour FedExCup playoff events, the 2017 President’s Cup, the LPGA’s Mizuho Americans Open, and will host the BWM Championship in 2027.
Dan has dedicated much of his career to advancing the sport both on and off the course. A passionate golfer from an early age, Dan went on to play golf at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He later graduated from Babson College with an MBA in 2000 and continues to support the golf program there as part of his personal mission to grow the game for all and assist in establishing more opportunities for young people to play collegiate golf.
An active philanthropist, Dan works closely with the Paul & Phyllis Fireman Charitable Foundation, The Tiger Woods Foundation, The Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholars Foundation, Columbia Business School’s Tamer Institute, One Family, Inc. and, sits on the boards of the American Junior Golf Association, Veteran Golfers Association, and First Tee.
Liberty National has also been the host site for numerous charitable fundraising events including annual outings for Tunnel to Towers and H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 as well as the AGJA ACE Grant Cup, and Nexus Cup to name a few. Through his work, Dan continues to make a lasting impact on the sport of golf, ensuring its growth, inclusivity, and future success.
Dan is also the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Growcore Investments, a consumer-focused venture capital and private equity firm. He also serves as the Executive Chairman of Windrose Advisors, a multi-family office that manages more than $3 billion in assets.
