Marty Kelly joined Children’s Hospital Boston as Director of Investments in February 2015.  He serves as a senior member of the investment office overseeing the investment assets of the endowment and pension plan.

Prior to joining Children’s Hospital Boston, Mr. Kelly was a senior member of the NYU Investment Office. At NYU, he was responsible for managing a globally diverse $3.5 billion endowment portfolio invested across a broad cross section of traditional and alternative assert classes.  Mr. Kelly also contributes to the development of portfolio strategy and leads research and analysis on a variety of topics.

He joined NYU after serving as Deputy CIO and Managing Director at Constituent Capital Management, a start-up outsourced CIO firm based in Boston.

Mr. Kelly spent most of his career at MIT, where until 2012 he was a Managing Director at the MIT Investment Management Company. At MIT, he led a team responsible for the, evaluation, and selection of investment managers in the long-only marketable security and hedge fund arenas in the United States and around the world. He also concentrated on strategic asset allocation and portfolio strategy.

Mr. Kelly earned his BSBA with highest honors, from Northeastern University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute.
