CELICIA CHAUNG
Deputy Chief Investment Officer
Celicia is Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Windrose Advisors, working closely with the investment team on asset allocation, manager selection, investment due diligence and research across asset classes. She also works closely with new and existing clients on designing and implementing investment portfolios.
Previously, Celicia served as a Director of Research at Balter Capital Management, an investment advisory firm primarily focused on hedge fund manager research, sourcing, and selection for family offices, high net worth individuals, and foundations. Celicia has extensive experience conducting investment manager research across a wide variety of strategies, geographies, and liquidity structures. Prior to joining Balter, Celicia was responsible for hedge fund analysis at SCS Financial, a Boston-based private wealth management firm and multi-family office with over $30 billion in assets. At SCS, she was primarily dedicated to hedge fund research across all strategies and geographies. Celicia started her career as an analyst for Capital Management Advisors, a $2.5 billion, Geneva, Switzerland-based hedge fund advisory firm and fund of funds where she held responsibility for research and due diligence across a variety of strategies.
Celicia is a graduate of the Lemberg 5-Year BA/MA Program at Brandeis University, with a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University, and an M.A. in International Economics and Finance from the Brandeis International Business School. In her free time, Celicia enjoys spending time with her family and Netherland dwarf bunny, cooking, traveling, discovering new restaurants and culinary experiences, playing table tennis, and snowboarding.
